With Work in MIYAGI, students can now visit the company of their choice with our “Company Tours” program.
Are you are a student wondering “What kind of companies are in Miyagi?” or “What is it really like to work in a Japanese company?”
Are you a business thinking “We want to hire foreign students but don’t have the opportunity” or worried about how “a student will think about a Japanese company?”
Then this program is just what you are looking for! It grants an indispensable opportunity for a mutual understanding and cultural exchange that will put many of these worries at ease!
The tours will be conducted in two parts, 1 tour in the morning, and 1 in the afternoon.
We will conduct company tours while matching the companies recruiting needs with the students' career aspirations in advance.
With the Work in MIYAGI team as your guide, you can rest assured that this will be a wonderful experience for both parties!
★☆ Work in MIYAGI Company Tour Dates ☆★
First Company Tour 10/13/2021 (Morning Tour 10am to 12:40pm) Afternoon Tour 1:30pm to 4pm)
Second Company Tour 2/9/2022 (Morning Tour 10am to 12:40pm) Afternoon Tour 1:30pm to 4pm)
Companies Participating: 3 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, 6 total for each day.
Students Participating: 3 teams of 5 for the morning tour totaling 15 participants for each day.
(For those who are not international students, please feel free to still apply and contact us with any questions)
※In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, there may be potential limitations to the number of participants at the time of the event.
On the day of the event, practices such as hand sanitization, ventilation, and social distance will be thoroughly implemented and enforced.

・Greetings and Self-Introductions
・Company presentations from their representatives
・Company on-site observation plus meeting with current senior employees
・Discussion session with all the respective staff of the companies
・Lunch Meeting (For the AM tour only, prepared by the executive office)
・Thank you speech to the companies from the students
